The British Horse Society statistics state that nearly 2 horses are killed each week on UK roads.

Since 28/2/2019 - 29/2/2020

• 1,037 incidents have been reported (81% increase over the previous year)

• 80 horses have died

• 1 person killed

• 81% of incidents occurred because cars passed too closely to horses

• 40% of incidents occurred because a vehicles passed by too quickly
